Alexej Savreux is a New England born graffiti artist and author now residing in Kansas City, MO. Savreux used to hang around the Jack Kerouac School for Disembodied Poetics, and briefly attended the Kansas City Art Institute where he studied digital photography and multimedia. He is the author of the eccentric poetry book "Graffiti on the Window". Currently, he is involved in volunteer work as a graphic designer and multimedia artist for local social justice non-profits and mental health advocacy. Savreux's preferred medium is the computer as well as a legal wall or sidewalk and he considers his art to be "outsider art".
Speaking about his lifestyle: "The world could end tomorrow...but that'd be okay, because I've been in those alleys...because I was at peace being human. And I figure that's all I can really be or do, anyways."
Alexej's poetry and artwork can be found in local bookstores, online, in small e-journals and zines, and on the streets of Kansas, Colorado, New York, Vermont, and Missouri.
