Morning Brew: Coffee, Conversation & Creativity

Defining & identifying RESISTANCE

Join us for coffee and a chance to meet with others in the community to discuss the latest arts and culture news and issues that matter to you.

As we move toward a new year it is often time to reflect on the successes, failures and desires for change that come with each transformative season.

In this installment of Morning Brew we will discuss Resistance with Dr. Heather Clark, PharmD, an intuitive coach, speaker, author, certified functional medicine specialist, and creator of The Burnout Cure. After her own recovery from severe burnout, she has helped many others recover quickly, safely, and permanently. Dr. Clark awakened to her purpose when she realized that the root cause of burnout isn't 'just' stress--it is the stress of being someone you aren't.

Transform resistance into results using the CREATE FLOW approach.

Instead of fighting resistance, why not give it a kiss on the cheek and dance with it?

Resistance is actually an alchemical gift (although often very much in disguise). Learn this stress free way to harness the power of resistance and find your Transformational Leverage Point to step into your authentic, creative genius.

Dr. Clark was a National Merit Scholar, earned her doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Iowa in 1997, completed her post-doctoral residency at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center, was adjunct faculty at University of Missouri Kansas City, and has practiced in a variety of settings including community, long term care, consulting, and hospital clinical pharmacy.

Clarity is her superpower; she helps creative, caring professionals shift their reality and powerfully create their desires.
