Healing and recovery after the experience of trauma can often be a difficult, painful and meandering path. What we do know, without a doubt, is that visual art can be a powerful healing process, especially when words are slow to arrive. This art therapy group offers dedicated space, time and attention for the healing process to take place for survivors of trauma. It is a 10-week-long closed group.
The group is led by Art Therapists Jayashree George & Sherri Jacobs. Participants will need to attend an interview process before participating in the group. Please call (913) 432-1916 to find out details and to set an appointment.
10 Weeks: September 16th - November 18th, Fridays's 1:30am-3:30pm
Cost: $300 ($30.00 per session)
