How To Target The Right Audience To Buy Your Art

  • InterUrban ArtHouse 8001 Newton Street Overland Park, KS 66204 (map)

Who buys your art? Do you know?

Benefits of this seminar:

Attract the right clients to your art business.
A defined message that creates sales and opportunities.

Easier and more impactful ads on social media

Defining a target market is a critical part of any marketing program, but when I work with Artists, I find they are the group least likely to know who buys their work. I often hear things like, “Everyone” or “Anybody with walls…” (or tables or needs photography or — money) when I ask an artist about target market. I agree, BUT you can’t market to all those people. If you do, your marketing is out-of-focus and not in a good artsy way, in a bad muddled message way. This seminar is designed to help you laser-focus your marketing on just the right target so your message is clear, concise and powerful. The best part? That clear message will bring in all those other people with walls, tables … and money!

What you will learn:

  • How to create or refine your customer avatar.

  • Where to find detailed customer demographics.

  • What qualities of your customer avatar are critical to directing your marketing.

  • How to use your customer avatar to write and design ad copy.

  • How to use target market data to better direct your social marketing.

Who should attend:

If you’ve ever created what you think is a beautiful ad but gotten no response, or if you’ve been posting consistently on social media but not gotten results, this seminar is for you. If you are curious about customer avatars and how they work, this seminar is for you.
