We are currently renovating a former Post Office sorting facility into a lively, creative, cooperative environment with a coffee shop, event space, and 12 artists studios! Interested in joining us?  Details below!

We will be opening our newly expanded studios in just a few months at 8001 Newton Street in Downtown Overland Park.  The former Post Office sorting facility is currently under construction and will soon be home to 12 additional studios, a coffee shop, and large programming space!  We are maintaining our current space across the street at 8001 Conser Street and will be considering applicants for that space as well!  Studio sizes and pricing can be found here.

The ArtHouse welcomes and encourages applications for studio space from artists working in all art disciplines.   The reality of working in a shared space does require us to limit a few studio practices that may be disruptive or unsafe to fellow tenants - some restrictions apply.

The deadline to apply is April 29, 2017.  Interviews will take place May 2-7, 2017 and selections will be announced on May 12, 2017.

Criteria for Selection:  The ArtHouse has pulled together a committee of artists and arts advocates from across the community to help us through the selection process.  Our intent is to open this summer with both of our spaces (8001 Conser and 8010 Newton) filled with amazing individuals who will thrive together!

There are lots of factors that go into the selection process, learn more about eligibility and criteria here.
