InterUrban ArtHouse and Art As Mentorship, in partnership with AT&T/Believe Kansas City, will host a reception Friday, February 21st showcasing over 130 middle and high school student mural designs that express messages of HOPE & HEALING, and raise awareness around the issue of teen suicide. 8 design finalists will be announced that evening, with 2 winners having their designs reproduced on 2 public walls around metro area.
The evening includes a free T-shirt making activity from 3-5pm, Live music by local musician Victor Dougherty, and a community "paint-in" with large banners throughout the gallery for everyone to help paint.
Free and open to the public, refreshments provided.
