This class will be a combination of reviewing the fundamental drawing exercises and experimenting with different mediums to draw and create. Students will be encouraged to try different mediums to take their work to a new level. To think outside the box. We will be taking a playful look towards the joys of making art.

This artist-led class consists of six 2-hour sessions, over six consecutive Tuesdays, starting 12th September, 2023.

Supply List

Recommended class materials include:

• Pencils 2H, 4H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B

• Strathmore Mixed media sketchbook (at least 9×12 in size)

• 1 watercolor brush angular ½

• Watercolor pencils

• Knead eraser x-large

• Blending stumps #3 size

• Ruler

• 3 x Sharpie

• 2 x Posca pens of your choice of color

• Higgins black ink

• Pentel sign pen (water-soluable)

• Charcoal vine

• Stabilo Woody black

• Water-soluble graphite pencil
