Join us at the Johnson County Library - Central Resource, for an evening of powerful storytelling as artists and creatives share personal narratives that weave their life experiences into their work. Singer / Songwriter / Director Vi Tran has been teaching the Story Harvest Workshop, a six week song and creative writing course hosted at the InterUrban ArtHouse. This storytelling night will be the culmination of his students' efforts, plus a few special guests.

Vi Tran is a preacher’s kid and the son of butchers. Born in Vietnam and raised in southwestern Kansas, he is equal parts sea salt and wheat fields. A theatre-maker, singer-songwriter and storyteller, Vi approaches art as archaeology, examining the nature of liminal identity, and transforming what seems broken into something beautiful.
