Presented by the InterUrban ArtHouse, in partnership with the Tristian Griffin Dance Company and The Carlsen Center at JCCC
LOST & FOUND is a five-part interactive dance film that invites you to witness the process of sudden solitude and, through each of the performances, contemplates how we each live our own versions of the world’s current shared experience. Just as the artists reveal their personal process, especially during these times, let us reflect on how we too at some point in our lives have been LOST and let us not forget what we have FOUND.
======
As the viewer, you choose where to begin exploring the five versions, Each one is named for the song that accompanies it and features one of five unique soundtracks. One film may offer a sense of calm, while another might energize you, coaxing your body to move as you see the dancers doing. Whatever you may feel, each version invites you to enter a new perspective, one that can challenge assumptions about what at first, seems static or singular and evolves into a spectrum, playing with the malleability of our perception and the power of our senses. In other words, we see the 'same' experience differently according to what you hear.

All films will be hosted at 7pm on the Interurban ArtHouse's FB page at https://www.facebook.com/InterUrbanArtHouse/
Several local arts organizations will co host premiers of the other 4 films throughout the week, only on their designated nights, on their and our FB pages. (See dates and organizations below.)
All premiers will be followed immediately by a talkback with the choreographer, musician, and dancers. After the film, simply close the watch party, stay on the Arthouse FB page, and the talkback will automatically begin. Feel free to ask questions via the watch party and we will relay them to the artists during the last 15 min.
All films will be available 30min before the FB premiere, here at the top of this page.
