This class is great for beginners as well as for artists who want to increase the sense of depth, form, and accuracy in their drawings or paintings. Techniques for creating a proportionally solid drawing will be covered before moving on to the subject of light logic and how to create the illusion of depth and space. We will use plaster casts and still lives as references. Concepts will be applicable to any subject matter in any medium. In addition to numerous studies, students will have the opportunity to produce large finished charcoal drawings with step-by-step guidance.
