This is the beginning of a series of classes taught by local mandala artist, Joy Baker. 

In this class, you will create a beautiful mandala on a 10x10 board, using the aboriginal dot technique. Once this technique is mastered, the possibilities are endless! All supplies are included. Please join us for this fun and informative class.

Joy Baker is a multi-media artist and co-owner of Createful Studios, LLC, located in the InterUrban ArtHouse in Overland Park, KS. She is a full time studio artist with an emphasis on charity fundraising for arts programs in the Kansas City metro area. 

Joy specializes in meaningful and symbolic art on canvas. Joy's vibrant, intricate and decorative art is mostly inspired by international cultural symbols, artifacts, architecture and the symmetry and beauty found in nature. 

Her intention through her art, and her life, is to communicate inner peace and create beauty that begins from the inside out. Each piece of work begins in the center, there is never a plan beyond the background color. Joy enjoys the process of evolution that occurs with each brushstroke.
